Intellectual Property – Instrument for Improving Competitiveness
One of the MAIN objective was The objective of the project to develop and implement innovation management courses for industry professionals to enable career development and increase employability. The one that is developed by the non-academic partner, Intellectual Property Office This course was the part of MAIN Tempus project under the activity 2.3 - Preparing and publishing new LLL course materials and 3.4 - Realizing LLL courses. Participants at the seminar were mostly young professionals from SME in charge of management in their organizations. Also, at the beginning of the two-day seminar, brief introduction to all participants had been given to new master program “Innovation engineering”, which will start in 2016/2017 university year at two faculties in Novi Sad and Nis. They were invited to apply for it if there were interested ones. Several participants have shown some interest in it. The rest of two days were covered with the topics related to proper management of IPR in business entities starting from developing idea to market; recognition of right time for IPR protections; how to identify the relevant IP right; proceedings for protection of trademark, industrial design, patents; unregistered rights and soft IP; management and valuation of IP.
